Security official killed in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 28 (YPA) –
A senior security official was assassinated in Hadramout province, east of Yemen.
An official told Yemen Press Agency that the director of criminal investigation in the city of Sayoun, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed al-Somali, was killed on Sunday by unidentified gunmen near the city’s post.
The official indicated that the gunmen surprised al-Somali by firing a barrage of bullets on his car, and then fled.
