Update: Over 70 Saudi-hired militants killed, wounded in Najran

NAJRAN, Jan. 27 (YPA) – At least  20 militants were killed and 50 others were wounded in a counterattack carried by the Yemeni army in Najran region, a military source told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

According to the source, the army forces have repelled several attacks carried out by the Saudi-backed militants in  Shaja’a district since the early morning.

The attack lasted for several hours with the participation of the coalition’s warplanes and apache but without making any progress on the ground, the source added.

Earlier in the day, the rocketry forces of the Yemeni army fired Zilizal- 1 missile on gatherings of the Saudi-hired militants in Boqa desert, killing and injuring dozens of them.
