Palestinian killed by Israeli occupation forces in Jerusalem

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was killed on Saturday by Israeli occupation during the chasing for his vehicle in the Bab al-Amud area of Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation police said that they had shot at a vehicle in the Bab al-Amud area of Jerusalem, on the pretext that it posed a threat to the police officers stationed at the scene.

The Israeli occupation police added that the young man was a resident of the West Bank and was illegally present in the city.

The Israeli occupation police stated that a group of youths were on the vehicle without mentioning their number.

Local Palestinian sources said the deceased, who was killed in the city of Jerusalem, is Riyad Mohamed Hammad Shammasneh from the town of Qatana in the northwest of Jerusalem.
