ADEN, Jan. 23 (YPA) – A group of militias loyal to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces on Tuesday night raided a house of a former detainee in the southern port city of Aden and took him to an unknown location, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the sources, “the UAE-backed militias attacked the house of Tariq Mohammed Bagash, a former detainee was jailed and released from Bir Ahmed Prison, on orders of the Public Prosecutor’s office”.
The sources confirmed that Bagash was abducted by the UAE-backed militias and took him to an unknown destination and did not know his fate until now.
Al-Jazeera Net had published photographs of the man who had been tortured during his earlier detention.
The sources said that Tariq had been threatened and intimidated by UAE-backed militias to deny this picture, but he refused, which prompted them to arrest him again.
