Israeli fighter jets target Hamas’s sites

 

 

 

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces late on Tuesday launched air raids on a site of Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas in Beit Lahia town at northern Gaza Strip.

According to al-Alam channel, a helicopter fired a missile at the site of Ashkelon north-west of Beit Lahia before the warplanes targeted the site with four rockets without reporting any casualties.

The site was evacuated following tension on the eastern border of Gaza Strip.

The bombing was preceded by the Israeli planes which carrying out mock raids. There were violent explosions in various areas of the Strip.

The Israeli army announced the start of air striking northern Gaza Strip, in response to snipe a soldier in the central Gaza Strip shortly after the killing of Qassam resistance and wounding two in an artillery shelling east of Bureij.
