IOF arrests 21 Palestinians in West Bank

SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF)  on Monday launched a massive campaign of raids and arrests in various parts of the occupied West Bank, arresting 21 Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation forces also confiscated a car for the prisoner Ameer Ashtiyeh from Nablus after his wife was arrested and he was brought with the soldiers.

A number of citizens were injured and two journalists were detained during confrontations before hundreds of settlers stormed the tomb of Yusuf, east of Nablus.

The occupation forces stormed the town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya, distributed warning leaflets, and stormed Kafr Nehmeh, west of Ramallah and Qwa, east of Bethlehem.

The youths set fire on tires in the Eastern district of Nablus just before the occupation forces stormed ‘ entrance to the tomb of Yusuf to secure the settlers.

The Israeli soldiers opened fire on power transformers and electricity was partially outage in the Balata area surrounding the tomb of Yusuf, east of Nablus.

They closed the entrance to the Abu Mishal monastery in the northwest of Ramallah on the pretext of targeting settler vehicles with incendiary bottles.
