Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s militias attack protesters in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Militias of Saudi-backed exiled Hadi authority on Saturday attacked a protest rally organized by residents in Shabwah province, witnesses said.

The militias opened fire the protesters demanding in employing of their sons in Oqla oil field operated by OMV company, the international integrated oil and gas company based in Vienna.

According to the source, the protesters vowed to escalate until their demands would be achieved.

The oil fields in the province have been controlled by militias backed by United Arab Emirates since 2016.
