SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission in the US Congress has criticized the ongoing crackdown on human rights defenders in Bahrain.
In a twee, the commission called for the immediate and unconditional release of prisoner of conscience rights activist Naji Fateel, who has been in prison for 62 days.

Human rights defenders Abdul Hadi al-Khawaja and Nabil Rajab are not allowed to hug their families during visits, the commission added.
Khawaja cannot carry his grandchildren, and at the same time is demanding their release and all detained human rights activists, the commission said.
