Marine police in Gaza rescues 7 Egyptian fishermen

SANAA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – Marine police in Gaza Strip rescued on Thursday a group of Egyptian fishermen after the wind and heavy waves hit their boat in the Mediterranean Sea.

According to official Palestinian sources, the Gaza navy was able to rescue seven Egyptian fishermen, while the fate of the eighth is unclear.

The navy intervened quickly after the ship sank and crashed in the Mediterranean Sea and transported the seven fishermen to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for treatment, it added.
