Public Works, Water Ministries discuss cooperation in service projects

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghalib Mutlaq on Wednesday discussed with Minister of Water and Environment Nabil al-Wazir the cooperation between the two ministries to facilitate the implementation of service projects in the capital Sanaa.

The meeting dealt with the coordination aspects between the two sides to implement the sanitation works in Hadda area of the capital in order to complete restoration and paving of the streets.

Mutlaq stressed the importance of coordination between the two ministries before and during conducting any interventions or emergency works in the main streets of the capital and other cities.

He urged all government bodies to exert utmost efforts to provide basic services to citizens, in forefront of which are roads network, water and sanitation services.

In the meeting, al-Wazir praised the public works ministry’s role in the restoration and maintenance of the road network and rehabilitation and construction of the destroyed roads, bridges and vital facilities.
