Protest rally in Sanaa to demand paying teachers’ salaries

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – A protest rally was staged by teachers in front of the in front of the United Nations Office in Sanaa to demand payment their salaries.

At the rally, the teachers said that the systematic targeting of the education sector and educational facilities by the Saudi-led coalition and its militias to stop the educational process is failed attempts.

The participants deplored the continued silence of the United Nations and the international community towards the crimes, blockade and aggravating humanitarian situation that have caused by the coalition in Yemen.

They rejected a policy of starvation used by the coalition as economic paper to target the Yemeni people.
