Yemeni army repulses coalition militants attack in Jawf

JAWF, March 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday repulsed an attack of coalition militants toward al-Ashajar area of Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the militants were killed, wounded and three military trucks were destroyed in the operation despite the Saudi-led coalition air cover to back their militants on the ground.

Meanwhile, the army’s artillery hit gatherings of the militants in al-Salan camp, Kubri al-Bahith and Shawaq valley and Sabar sites in al-Ghail district in the same province, the official added.
