UAE attaché in Cairo expels 20 wounded from Yemeni southern provinces

SANAA, Jan. 8 (YPA) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) attaché in Cairo has directed to expel about 20 wounded people from the southern provinces who are receiving treatment in some hospitals in Cairo before completing their treatment period, according to diplomatic sources.

The sources said that the Egyptian medical Committee has received instructions on Monday from the Emirati attaché at the UAE Embassy in “Cairo” to expel more than 20 wounded people from the southern provinces who were receiving treatment in Egyptian hospitals, before the completion of their treatment and return to the city of Aden.

Among the wounded, it has been only two days for their surgery, they were asked to leave Cairo on the same day of the operations, according to Al-Watan al-Adani.

These actions were met with a wave of anger and widespread dissatisfaction, but officials of the wounded file put more pressure on the UAE attaché to cancel their deportation and return them from the airport, without knowing the reasons and motives of that step and his retreat at the last moments of their departure.
