SANAA, Jan. 6 (YPA) – Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi on Sunday met with the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths.
During the meeting, Sayyed al-Houthis indicated to the obstacles and breaches being made by the aggression side to the UN-brokered peace agreement reached in Stockholm last month.
He stressed the importance of implementing the agreement.
The leader of the revolution also emphasized the importance of starting the implementation of the other points of the deal, including the confidence-building steps regarding the ceasefire in Taiz, as well as paying salaries of the state employees, reopening Sanaa International Airport and the release of prisoners.
Sayyed al-Houthi denounced the delay of implementing the Stockholm deal in line with the agreed timetable.
Meanwhile, Griffiths discussed with Sayyed al-Houthi dates and locations of the next round of consultations, which is expected to take place later this month or in February.
