Coalition’s renunciation of Swedish agreement implementation will negatively affect political solution
SANAA, Jan. 6 (YPA) – A member of the national delegation Salim al-Mughalis said that the withdrawal of the coalition countries from the implementation of the Swedish agreement will negatively affect the path of political solution as well as on the path of the rest of the other files.
Al-Mughalis said “We regret the retreat of representatives of the coalition’s forces from the executive mechanism for redeployment after they agreed, adding that failure to implement the agreement will lose confidence in the United Nations and any agreements that may be sponsored.
“We hope that the envoy will continue to move his international tools to pressure Saudi Arabia and the UAE to implement the agreement,” he said, stressing that the national delegation will meet on Sunday with the envoy to discuss the file Hodeidah and other files that have not been completed in the consultations of Sweden.
The delegation would discuss with the UN Envoy the possibility of arranging a round of negotiations based on the general framework affirmed by resolution 2451.
