President meets Minister of Water, Deputy Minister of Electricity

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Sunday met with Minister of Water and Environment Nabil al-Wazir and Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy Abdulghani al-Madani.

In the meeting, the president stressed the importance of exerting further efforts to improve the level of services presented to citizens, especially in the water and sanitation and electricity areas to mitigate their suffering due to the current situations.

The meeting discussed the workflow in Ministries of Water and Electricity and the difficulties facing them as a result of the continuation of the war and siege, as well as the projects that have been achieved in the water sector in the capital Sanaa and other provinces.

The meeting also touched on aspects related to improve the infrastructure of the water and electricity sector, and plans of the electricity ministry for the coming stage and aspects related to enhancing the partnership with the private sector.
