Policeman injured in bomb blast outside church in central Athens

SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – At least one policeman was injured when an explosive device went off in front of a church in central Athens on Thursday morning, the Greek-based ART TV reported “.

The blast occurred outside the Saint Dionysios church around 7 am. local time (05:00 GMT), just before it was due to open to the public for service.

The policeman was taken to hospital for treatment and a security cordon was imposed around the area.
