UAE builds military camp in Yemen’s Abyan amid rejection and warnings

ABYAN, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Tribal sources in Abyan province  on Wednesday revealed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces have  established a new military camp in Al Ain area, while a number of the region’s elders refuse the entry of any Emirati-backed militias “the so-called security belt.”

According to the sources, the UAE is currently building a camp in the area of A’akda, noting that the elders of the district oppose the entry of the so-called security belt militias to the camp from outside the area, warning the coalition of the entry of the troops.

In a statement issued by the dignitaries of elders of Al al-Diaan district in Al Ain City of  Abyan to the media, they warned the coalition forces and security forces in Abyan province to bring any military force from the” security Belt”  or coalition forces to the camp where construction is under way in the area of A’akda.

According to the statement, the elders and dignitaries refused to let any forces belonging to the security Belt to enter their areas.
