Report: Army carries out attacks against coalition militias sites in several fronts, kills dozens over 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out several attacks against sites of Saudi-led coalition and its militias in several fronts over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding dozens, The Military Media reported on Wednesday.

In border province of Asir, the army foiled three attacks of the Saudi soldiers towards Alib crossing point, inflicting heavy casualties and destroying two military vehicles.

The army also waged an attack towards sites of al-Rabuah area, killing many Saudi soldiers and injuring others.

In Najran province, the army repelled an assault of the militias backed by the coalition’s fighter jets in Rashah area, killing and wounding several.

A commander loyal to coalition was killed in the army’s attack on al-Buqa desert of Najran.

In Jizan province, the army shot dead seven militiamen in two areas of al-Khubah and Jahfan.

In Jwaf governorate, dozens of the militias were killed and wounded when the army repulsed their attack reinforced by the fighter jets on al-Mahur hilltops.

A top leader backed by the coalition was killed by the army in al-Maton district of Jawf.

In Marib province, the army launched a military operation against sites of the militias in al-Majawah area of Nehm district, killing and wounding several of the militias.

The army also foiled an attack of the militias to advance into sites of al-Qarn front, inflicting heavy casualties in the same district of Marib.

In Hajjah province, the militias were inflicted heavy casualties when the army broke their attack towards two mountains of al-Nar and Haradh.
