4 died in medical helicopter crash in Portugal

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Four people were killed on Saturday night when a helicopter crashed in a mountainous area near the Portuguese city of Porto.

According to Reuters, RTB official station said the plane crashed, killing two pilots, a nurse and a doctor on board.

The plane was lost at around 6:30 pm on Saturday after a 76-year-old patient with heart problems was taken to a hospital in Porto, Portugal’s second largest city.

According to the emergency authority, the plane was on its way back to its base when it crashed in bad weather.

The authority also said that 200 rescue workers were searching for the plane but had not yet been found.
