Israeli forces arrest 8 Palestinians, including leader in Hamas in Ramallah

SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday arrested eight Palestinians, including a Hamas leader, during a campaign of raids in Ramallah town in the West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Press Agency “Safa,” local sources said that Israeli military patrols stormed the western  Almazra’ah village ) and arrested Hamas leader Sheikh Ali Hanoun from his home, and assaulted him, although he is blind.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Hamas activist Maher Mohammed Shreith after breaking into his house and taken to an unknown destination.

A unit of Israeli special force invaded the neighboring village of Kaubar, and arrested three young men and taken to an unknown destination.

During the night, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles near the Jalazun refugee camp with stones and smashed the glass of a vehicle.
