Australia recognizes West Jerusalem as capital of Israel

 SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – The Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, said on Saturday, that his country officially recognized the  West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but won’t move the Embassy there immediately.

“The Australian government has decided that Australia now recognizes west Jerusalem, as the seat of the Knesset and many of the institutions of government, is the capital of Israel,” Scott Morrison said.

“We look forward to moving our embassy to West Jerusalem when practical, he told Sydney.

The Palestinian Authority has called on Arabic and Islamic countries on Friday to boycott Australia economically if it recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
