Palestinian killed after stabbing Israeli policemen in Jerusalem

SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – An Israeli officer and a policeman were injured on Thursday in a stabbing attack, Israeli media reported.

Israeli sources claimed that a Palestinian carried out a stabbing attack near the Damascus Gate area in Jerusalem, where he was killed immediately.

Israeli media said the officer was slightly injured, while the other policeman got minor injuries.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA said that the Israeli occupation forces fired 10-12 bullets at the young man, leaving him bleeding for about 40 minutes before he died after accusing him of stabbing two Israeli soldiers.

According to the WAFA, the occupation prevented journalists from approaching the scene where a military blockade was imposed in the vicinity.
