Protest rally in Hadramout against high cost of living, traders greed

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 10 (YPA) – Dozens of residents on Monday held a protest rally in Mukalla city in Hadramout province against high cost of living, demanding Saudi-backed local authority to control traders manipulators prices.

The rally also called for the authority to end to greed of the real estate’s owners and food traders and pharmaceutical agencies and forcing the traders inexpensive the prices.

Mukalla city has witnessed a sharp rise in prices of foodstuffs, medicines, rent of houses and dealing with the foreign currency, which are heavily weighed on citizen.
