At least 20 detainees injured in UAE militiamen fire in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 8 (YPA) – Over 20 Yemeni detainees were injured in militiaman fire-backed by United Arab Emirates occupation (UAE) in Yemen’s southern province of Hadramout, eyewitnesses said on Saturday.

The detainees were targeted when the militiamen raided late on Friday a central prison of al-Munwarah in Mukalla city.

The move came after more than 110 detainees organized a protest rally in the prison to demand in releasing or referring them to judicial authorities.
