Transport Minister affirms Sanaa Int’l Airport’s readiness to receive civil flights

SANAA, Dec.1 (YPA) – Minister of Transport Zakaria al-Shami affirmed on Saturday of the Sanaa International Airport readiness to receive all civil flights in accordance with requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Al-Shami said that General Authority for Civil Aviation was quick to find alternatives to communicating devices and technical equipment after the coalition warplanes targeted an infrastructure of the airport.

“The coalition countries deliberately target the airport to out of its services and readiness,” the minister said.

Al-Shami inspected heavy losses in the airport caused by the coalition fighter jets’ airstrikes.

The move came during his visit at the Sanaa International Airport.
