SOCOTRA, March 8 (YPA) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation authorities on Thursday dismissed several government employees of the Electricity Company and Hadibo Hospital in Yemeni Socotra Island, local officials told Yemen Press Agency.
The UAE’s Daxem company for energy has controlled the island’s electricity company and began to dismiss the employees one by one according to a memo to the company signed by the company’s director Yasser Al-Aani to the director of Hadibu power station.
Moreover, the UAE authority took control of Hadibu Hospital and changed its name to Khalifa hospital, expelling its staff according to their political orientation.
