Blocking Almasirah TV aims to silence voice of truth: Army Spokesman

SANAA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemeni army on Wednesday said that blocking the broadcast of Almasirah TV channel is an attempt to silence the voice of truth.

“Blocking Almasirah TV is a blatant violation of the media freedom and comes within attempts of the aggression (Saudi-led coalition) to hide its crimes against the Yemeni people,” Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said in a statement to Yemen News Agency (Saba).

Sarei added that Almasirah channel represented the voice of the Yemeni people through conveying the crimes committed by the aggression to the world.

He considered the procedure is part of the escalation of the aggression, which he said intends to commit more massacres in the country.
