IOM repatriates 102 Ethiopian migrants from Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The United Nations Migration Agency (IOM) on Monday helped 102 Ethiopian migrants to return home voluntarily from Yemen’s capital Sanaa.

The migrants boarded a UN chartered plane in “a first airborne flight via Sanaa International Airport since 2015,” the IOM said in Twitter .

“Over 400 Ethiopian migrants will return home this week in four chartered flights,” it said.

Sanaa airport has been closed since March 2015 as part of air, sea and land unfair blockade imposed by the Saudi-led coalition forces against the Yemeni people.
