UAE-backed forces assassinates security officer in Aden
ADEN, March 5 (YPA) – Security forces loyal to the United Arab Emirates occupation forces on Monday killed a Yemeni security officer in the southern province of Aden, according Yemen Press agency’s reporter.
Militants of so-called security belt forces on a car opened fire on Colonel Abdullah Abdulkarim, a member of local council and deputy director of the 7th region of Aden’s security department, while having his breakfast in a market of Sheikh Othman district and killed him, the reporter said.
The perpetrators fled to an unknown destination, he added.
The assassinations have noticeably increased recently in Aden city, targeting military and security leaders and religious scholars.
The southern provinces are witnessing an unprecedented security chaos under the control of the Saudi-Emirati invasion and occupation forces.
