ICRC welcomes any peace efforts to stop war to save Yemenis

SANAA, Nov. 19 (YPA) – The International Committee of the Red Cross(ICRC) welcomed on Monday any peace efforts to stop the war in Yemen and prepared to provide any necessary support to save the Yemeni people, in a statement said.

The statement said that the conflict in Yemen resulted in the world’s  largest humanitarian crisis and displaced millions of Yemeni citizens.

The ICRC called on the warring parties to avoid targeting civilians and infrastructures, such as hospitals and schools and allowed to enter food and medicine supplies.
