Saudi-led coalition’s heavy casualties stop war in Hodeidah

SANAA, Nov. 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army waged military operations against sites of Saudi-led coalition’s militiamen, inflicting heavy casualties, which led  to US-backed Saudi-led coalition’s declaration to stop military operations in Hodeidah provinces over the past weeks, according to military officials.

The move came after the army killed thousands of the coalition’s militiamen ,wounded others and  destroyed hundreds of military vehicles few  weeks ago, which led accept calls for a cease-fire and return to the negotiating table.

The coalition’s over 15 military battalions was targeted by the army in the western coast over the past month, the officials added.
