Death toll from Israeli genocidal war mounts to 74,498

GAZA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war has risen to 74,498, with 175,616 people injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said Gaza hospitals received four bodies and 12 injured people over the past 24 hours.

It added that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the toll has reached 1,538 martyred and 5,498 injured, while 841 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble.

“Several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far,” the ministry said.
