DHALE, Nov. 14 (YPA) – An armed gang on Wednesday broke into one of the money exchange companies in Dhale province, southern Yemen, looting a large sum of money.
According to officials, a gang consists of 10 gunmen carried out an armed robbery and looted more than 100 million Yemeni riyals and other sums in foreign currency from the exchange company in Qataba city.
Last month, an armed gang had tried to break into the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) in the province.
The province is witnessing an insecurity state in light of the continued spread of gangs and armed militias funded by Saudi-led coalition countries.
