HODEIDAH, Nov. 13 (YPA) – At least 13 Yemeni fishermen on Tuesday arrived at the fishing port in Yemen’s Hodeidah province after Saudi-led coalition set them free.
They were arrested by Saudi-led coalition’s warships in the Red Sea.
The head General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea, Abdelkader al-Wa’adei said that 13 of fishermen who were held by the coalition for eight days were tortured.
He indicated that the fishermen were severely beaten by the Saudi-led coalition.
The aggression’s warships intercepted their boat which belonged to Ahmed Jamal Fatini Hassan Ahdal, on 5 November, and they were taken as hostages in Yemen’s Sawabie Island, he added.
