Saudi-led coalition forces’ losses continue in Hodeidah: Report

HODEIDAH, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces’ heavy losses have continued in the fierce battles with the Yemeni army in Kilo 16 area of al-Hali district, south the western port city of Hodeidah, according to military reports.

Over the last week, more than a thousand fighters of the coalition were killed and 150 various military vehicles were destroyed in the same battlefields.

“There are no signs in Kilo 16 that the coalition forces can achieve any breach from this area,” eyewitnesses told Yemen Press Agency.

In a related context, the Yemeni army forces on Saturday launched a surprise attack against positions of the coalition forces in al-Garibat area in the Kilo 16 front, which caused big losses to the coalition.

On Friday, the army’s engineering unit destroyed a military bulldozer and a military pick-up car belonging to the coalition forces during confrontations in the south of Kilo 16 area.
