Issuing a binding resolution is the only way to stop the war in Yemen: Al-Houthi

SANAA, Nov. 2 (YPA) – Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthis has called on the United Nations Security Council to issue a binding resolution to halt the war in Yemen.

“Calls for cessation the war in Yemen are not enough, even if it was good, because the Saudi-led aggression and its allies in Yemen, don’t consider these calls as a binding, and they are working on it to make it continuous”,  Mohammed Ali al-Houthis wrote on His Twitter account on Thursday.

“Halting the aggression will be achieved very fast by doing one thing which is on the hands of the States that have called to stop the war on Yemen”he said, adding ” by imposing a binding decision form the Security Council to stop the aggression and lift the blockade, which only requires holding a session at the council, ” al-Houthis added.
