SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has purchased a sophisticated Israeli security system, including high-resolution and quality spy devices, in a deal worth $250 million.
High-level diplomatic sources said that the deal between the two parties was completed a few weeks ago, after secret consultations and meetings, which began in April last April, according to the Gulf online website.
The secret meetings were held in some Western capitals, including London, Washington, and the administration of US President Donald Trump was aware of all the results of those meetings, the sources said.
“Some spy programs and devices have actually been transferred to Riyadh and have been officially launched after the training a technical staff with responsibility for their management and operation,” The Jerusalem Post newspaper said.
These systems are the most sophisticated Israeli spy weapons, and they are sold for the first time to an Arab country, the paper said.
“This cooperation is not the first of its sort between Israel and Saudi Arabia,” Jerusalem Post reported.
