Report: Yemen Army carries out ground attacks against Saudi forces over 24 hours
SANAA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks to frustrate US-backed Saudi-led coalition militiamen’s infiltration on several battle fronts over the past 24 hours , according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
- In Jizan border province:
The army fired Katuysha missiles at gatherings of Saudi soldiers in Ayn-Hara camp.
A missile, Zilzal-1, and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen in the west of Nar mount, causing direct casualties.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of militiamen in east of Nar mount. - In Asir border province:
Artillery shells were fired at militiamen’s gatherings in front of Alb border crossing. - In Bayda province:
Army’s artillery shelled gatherings of militiamen and thier military vehicles in Qania front, killing, injuring dozens of them, including leaders, and destroying their military vehicles.
The army carried out an offensive against enemy’s sites in Natea front, inflicting them heavy losses in lives and equipment. - In Taiz province:
Artillery force of the Yemen army shelled fortification of Saudi-backed militiamen in Asifirah front l, causing direct casualties.
