Hadi’s ministers loot public money
ADEN, Oct. 21 (YPA) – A number of exiled Hadi’s government ministers withdraw large sums of money from accounts of their ministries deposited in the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahli and other banks in Aden province, special sources told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.
The sources stressed that the ministers of Hadi, who are in various countries, have carried out withdrawals of large sums of funds from the ministries that were opened before the transfer of the Central Bank to Aden.
The move, which was hastened by the ministers to withdraw tens of millions, came after the dismissal of the former Prime Minister, “Ahmed bin Dagher,” and the appointment of Moin Abdulmalik as his successor several days ago.
Observers said that the move came amid fears of imminent changes And the seizure of the so-called Southern Transitional Council funded by the UAE on the state institutions, including the Central Bank.
They called for the reduction of looting of public money, at a time of famine in all Yemeni provinces, including the south, calling for the accountability of Hadi’s ministers and stop those illegal practices.
