Yemen Parliament rejects contract with China’s Huawei
SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Saturday rejected a contract with Chinese Huawei company, because it has been signed by an illegal government that does not represent the Yemeni people.
During its plenary session, the parliament recommended the national salvation government to communicate the Chinese government and parliament to stop the planned actions of Huawei company with the illegal government of exiled resigned Riyadh-based president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi’s.
The parliament urged Ministry of Telecommunications and Information technology to initiate domestic and international judicial proceedings against the unconstitutional actions and to counter any action that would undermine the sovereignty and stability of the country.
