UN envoy discusses participation of southern delegation in negotiations

AMMAN, Oct. 14 (YPA) – UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, on Sunday discussed in Jordan’s capital, Amman, with former southern Yemeni president Ali Nasser Mohammed, participation of united southern delegation in Yemen peace negotiations.

The two sides exchanged views on stopping the war and bringing peace to Yemen.

In the meeting, Nasser confirmed his support to the UN envoy efforts to achieve security and stability in Yemen and the region.

He also called on all Yemeni, regional and international parties to make their peaceful endeavors a success in order to end the war and conflict in Yemen and the region.

The UN envoy is holding meetings with all Yemeni political forces and components in more than one country to discuss a mechanism for resolving the crisis in Yemen.
