Sanaa official vows harsh, painful response to Saudi airstrikes

SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Sanaa authorities sent on Saturday a strongly message to Saudi Arabia by targeting Riyadh in the first response to the targeting of the capital, Sanaa.

In his first comment on the targeting of the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Ansarullah Political Bureau member Hazam Al-Asad said: “A capital for a capital… and whoever’s capital is built on oil should not set fire to the capitals of others.”

In a post on his X account, Al-Asad stressed that the bombing of civilian targets in the capital, Sanaa, will not halt the operations of Sanaa armed forces and the people of Taiz to drive the remaining Saudi military buildups out of Taiz, nor will it alter the course of the battle with the Saudi enemy.

Yemen’s official also commented on a video published by Al-Hurra channel, showing a large cloud of smoke and flames rising near a facility belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco in Riyadh, adding that Saudi escalation will be met with escalation.
