Yemeni army foils infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militants in Asir

ASIR, Oct.14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Sunday foiled infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militants in the Saudi southern border province of Asir, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of militants were killed and injured during their attempt to make progress towards Jabal Ghorah area in Bawab Alhadeed district, the official added.

The army forces stepped up their attacks on the Saudi military sites on all border fronts in retaliation for committing war crimes and massacres against Yemeni civilians.
