SANAA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – The National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Response on Friday condemned the Saudi-led coalition bombing on civilians and vital facilities in Durihami and Tuhita districts in Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah.
In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, it said that the coalition bombings on the tow districts led to the destruction General Hospital in Durihami district and the maternity and childhood hospital which are crowded patients, newborns, citizens, and medical staff.
Attacking ambulances at the General Hospital and citizens ‘ homes is a blatant challenge to international laws, legislation and charters, the statement read.
The Deliberate bombing on health facilities, ambulances and civilians reflect the barbaric and the arrogance of the Saudi- UAE-led coalition for the fourth year and its carelessness of human values, the statement added.
The statement called on international humanitarian and human rights organizations to play their humanitarian role in delivering aid to those areas.
It also called on the international community and the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the international organizations working in Yemen to take a firm stand on the coalition’s crimes in accordance with the international and humanitarian law.
