General hospital staff  carry out open strike in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 10 (YPA) – Chair of workers syndicate in General hospital in Aden province Wadad Ghazi Shawala called on its staff to an open strike in various stages on Wednesday.

Shawala said that the strike came after the hospital administration had rejected demands of the staff to improve their livelihood due to high prices and devaluations of the local currency.

She called on the local authorities in Aden to take care the health workers in performing their humanitarian duty towards the country.
