DHALA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – A member of the armed militia backed by the United Arab Emirates was killed on Wednesday in Dhala province, Southern Yemen, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.
Abdurahman Mohsen Bisbas, a member of the so-called “security belt forces” loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council was killed in a grenade attack as he left his home in al-Qashaa neighborhood, according to eyewitnesses.
Dhala province has witnessed many assassinations as a result of the security chaos, and the spread of the UAE-backed armed militia, which commit various violations and raid citizens’ homes.
