ADEN, Oct. 7 (YPA) – Militias loyal to the UAE occupation forces on Sunday held a cargo plane with several foreign experts on board as it arrived at Aden International Airport, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
The militias of the so-called Southern Transitional Council backed by the UAE held six Ukrainian experts, two of them had residence permits and the other four had entry visas to Aden, according to the official.
He added that the militias refused to allow passage of the cargo plane, which carries spare parts of Al-Hasawah power plant and a shipment of free medicines to the wounded people in the city of Aden.
The UAE-backed militias have controlled Aden International Airport, free zone ports and all vital facilities in Aden since the withdrawal of the Yemeni army and the popular committees from the city in the second half of 2015.
