Yemeni army foils infiltration of Saudi-backed militants in Najran

NAJRAN, Oct. 6 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees, on Saturday, foiled an in an infiltration attempt of the Saudi-backed militants towards Tabat Ghazi in the Saudi southern border province of Najran , a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the militants were killed and injured when they tried to advance towards the sites in the western part of Sudias, the official confirmed.

The official indicated that the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes to back its militants during their failed attempt to make progress on the ground.
