Protesters block main streets in Yemen’s Aden

ADEN, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Aden the southern province of Yemen, on Wednesday witnessed a civil disobedience as a protest against the economic crisis caused by the smuggling of foreign currency and the corruption of the exiled Hadi’s government, local sources Told Yemen Press Agency.

Both Crater and Sheikh Othman districts have been witnessing a civil disobedience, all shops are closed, as a rejection to the economic deterioration and the collapse of various basic services for citizens, and the rise in food prices, the sources added.

The protesters blocked a number of key streets, demanding to overthrow of Hadi’s government and the expulsion of coalition forces.

They also accused them of smuggling hard currency outside Yemen to create an economic catastrophe targeting Sanaa and Aden at the same.
